I’ve been super crafty lately, thanks to Shanelle and I being exceptionally bored – we started making all sorts of fun items and I’m gonna be talking about them here for y’all (I even remembered to take some pictures!)
First up is my calendar.
I’ve talked about my DIY dry erase calendar several times and decided to update it today, here is the older one I had made.
Now I made this by getting paint chips from Home Depot (which were free) and cutting them to fit the size of my photo frame here. I purchased a 12X12 frame from Hobby Lobby and glued the paint chips to fit and “voila” a new erasable calendar!
I have used my calendar quite often and decided to get a new background for it and new paper, so I went back to Hobby Lobby and purchased all sorts of scrapbook paper (which were half off of the price so some were .25 and some were .35, you can’t beat that!) and placed it in my frame.
I also printed off a blank calendar and a note page (thanks to SASinteriors for these – I will also link these for download, as I altered the note page to fit horizontally instead of vertically.)
I taped them on top of the scrapbook paper,
And now I have a new awesome calendar for use!

Although I heavily rely on my iPhone for my calendar it is nice to have the option here for the hardcopy. You never know when technology will fail you, and it’s incredibly adorable.
